Our Projects

As a nonprofit organization dedicated to providing sustainable humanitarian aid to West African communities, our penultimate goal is introducing citizens of Ghana and Togo to the education and resources they need to become self-reliant. Our efforts target the root causes of inequity by cultivating agricultural, entrepreneurial, and organizational proficiency in underprivileged communities. Furthermore, we implement innovative strategies that respect the dignity of Africans and uphold their ecological and cultural well-being.

 

By using local resources, Building Community Bridges hopes to provide new opportunities and stimulate the development of sustainable, healthy societies. Our nonprofit encourages active participation that nurtures fundamental change and believes that autonomy is integral to reducing aid-dependency.

    Nafon Social Enterprise 

    Our social enterprise propels the self-directed prosperity of rural villages by way of sustainable agriculture.  The MIFON Rice project works in partnership with BCB’s CEDI Program to help increase the educational and technical skills of the workforce to allow for a more educated and capable  community.

    Eco-San Toilets

    Hygiene is an absolute necessity for the cultivation of a thriving community. However, many villages in West Africa lack access to sufficient sanitary measures and waste removal. This leads to higher rates of  illness and weakens overall community health.
